Several days ago it was announced on the official site that you can pull their news for your own use:

Now you too can have the latest PlanetSide.com news on your own web page. Just place the HTML code below anywhere in your website source code, and your PlanetSide news will update when we update. Or, if you are an advanced user, you may want to try our PlanetSide Newsfeed Editor. This simple to use tool will allow you to choose font styles, colors, and layout options.

However they did not provide an RSS feed. Here at PSU we have added the official site news tracker to our RSS feed selection along with the DevTracker and PSU News.
