I remember the very first time I played tribes in 1998. was amazing. even played it on dial up until I went to broadband a year later.

I agree, its just nice to see a good old game remade nevertheless.

It will prob not even be like tribes more like Call of duty with jetpacks and skis lol

Skiing is in integrated mechanic now. It seems more like a first person xgames-like skiing game then a shooter to me. Just bouncing around, gliding and sliding would be fun. But shooting that would be annoying. Either way I'll end up trying it.

Pretty sure it'll be more like tribes, that footage clearly shows it's still very much like the original game, and nothing like COD.

I highly doubt there are upgrades, atleast there better not be.

That looks just like tribes 2 with better graphics to me. In any case its better than vengeance which I am sad to say I wasted my money on.

"It's like COD" could refer to a hundred things. Aside from health regen and guns, what similarities does it have to COD?

Then it will be like COD.

UT3 was the worst of its series, if tribes were going to be compared to any of the UT games it would be UT2004. UT3 was dark, bland, slow, and just down right awful.
