AGN Positions Status

Ok it's been about a week now. Here's a breakdown of what positions folks have expressed interest in:

Live/Embedded Reporters - 6
Writers - 5
Photographers - 5
Comercials/Misc - 1

We've done a little more work on Official AGN staff positions:

Station Managers: Hamma and Marsman

We've deceided that we are going to look for the following additional positions as official AGN-Staff:

Four - Commentator/Moderator Positions

These 4 positions are going to have their own shows - one week out of each month. These people will be controlling the shoutcast, actually doing the uplink to the servers. They will be directing the show, calling upon live reporters and news as needed. Previous casting experience prefered and familiarity with shoutcast software a must.

Four - Production Coordinators

These four people will work directly with the four commentator/moderators mentioned above. Each position assigned to a particular commentator. Their job is to support the commentator, provide info and news, contacting the live reporters and getting them ready for live air, collecting and reviewing the recorded reports, and basically running the show from behind the scenes. Previous experience with production prefered but not required. Good organizational skills a plus.

One or Two - News Editors

This person(s) will be responsible for sorting through the submited wirtten news stories and battle photographs and combining them into a battle news ariticle for the live newswire section of the AGN. This will be either one or two postions depending on the amount of submitted material.

Beyond these official staff positions, all other positions for reporters, writers, etc are open to everyone and have a virtual guarentee that you'll be utilizied (providing your work meets the basic requirements of the position) Don't be shy - the more people we have involved, the better our AGN organiztion will become. We'll announce our picks for the official posotions listed above within a week or so. We'll also be responding to those who have pm'ed us so far.

i would love to be a commentator, but I think if these shows will be on during the weekends, that it'll intrude on my work schedule. Seeing as how I probably can't do a shoutcast from work, this would be unacceptable. But Mars, check your PM box.
