how to make an ingame video ??

just a brief question.. how the heck do i make an ingame video..

oke oke .. could make a screener :).. but isnt ther an ingame tool.. or another tool to do this ??

i'm experimenting atm, output through s-video to my vcr, record, then playback the footage through s-video again into my capture card then mess around with it in there, so far havent had much success.
