Okay. Here are my computer specs:

Athlon XP 1800+
1024MB PC2700 DDR RAM
ATI Radeon 8500 128MB
ABIT AT7-MAX

I have a cable modem, so bandwidth is not an issue. When in large battles doors start to not open for 30-60 seconds, can't reload, people and vehicles sink into the floor, etc. On my client, though, everything else seems fine. I can run around, fly around in a mosquito just fine, just anything that needs to ask the server's permission (opening a door, using a terminal, spawning, etc) will be really slow in these huge battles. I have the latest Via Hyperion 4in1 drivers, and the latest ATI Catalyst drivers from ATI's website. Any ideas? DirectX 9.0b too.

Do you know if your 8500/128 is LE? If so, highly suggest getting a tweak utility like powerstrip and OC'ing the core and memory some. Just slowly work your way up until you start getting visual artifacts.

If its not an LE, it really should handle PS decently. I played all through PS beta on a 8500/64 non-LE and it worked rather well. Fairly low visual quality settings in game and make sure AA/AF are defintely off.

Turn on the in game fps counter and see what your getting also. From what you describe its not really video lag your seeing, but just server lag. Which happens, so maybe try one of the lower populated servers and find a big battle there and see if you get same problem.

I get 60-40 FPS on average in the sanc. It's NOT an LE card, Pyro_Man, you are an idiot. The Radeon 8500 128MB outperforms most GF4Ti cards. And you should spell out the rest of the post for me first, because that 'u' and 'ur' shit just doesn't cut it.
