ok this is gonna turn into a fan boy screaming match.. so let me start it off:

honestly thier about neck and neck. different games give diffrent results. some award nvidia 10fps more while others may give ATI the lead...

the Nvidia takes up two slots (AGP and adjacent PCI slot) while the ATI does not.

ATI : $294.75

Nvidia: $237

Now personally I am gonna get the ati for one simple reason...
HALF-LIFE 2!!!! you saw the news posts.. that game bombed with nvidia....

hope this helps a little

cant really say, no one uses planetside as a benchmark... although i can tell you it probally wont make a difference, both cards will give high fps...

the 5900 ultra is NOT 237 dollars. that's absurd. the freakin 5600 ultra is 200. theres no way a 5900 ultra is only 237

For PS it won't matter. PS handles so many things so badly you're taking a chance no matter what card you get

I had a choice.

Out of both, and benchmarks I've seen as well as who is progressively taking the lead in the graphics war I chose the 9800 Pro.

It runs practically ANY game like glass (but it seems my old 9500 pro ran games better at 1600x1200 for some reason).
