Any suggestions? Needs to be able to handle 4.1 surround sound, and music.

Sound Blaster Live. I have a 5.1 card and its great and has never failed me. Here is 7.1 Card though.

Get an Audigy 2 (reg or ZS) they are quite awsome.

i don't recomend new "live" cards as many people had problems with them.

Well you could always get a 5.1, they are a few years old but with a recent driver update they are capable of EAX 3.

Picked up a Soundblaster Audigy 2 Value, and it's working great. Thanks for the tips!
