I made this small site, featuring my collection so I had one place to store images and I was bored so I put that together with some writing, my dad's new digital camera and some spare time.

Googlepages is pretty neat.

It's diffcult to understand how these soldiers manage to use these rifles soo well under pressure. What with the loading, aiming, using the bolt, recoil and the wieght of the rifle.

I just couldn't imagine myself hitting dick all with one of those

The Garand is a sweet weapon, I would love to have one of those. I wonder if it would be possible to possess one of those in Canada.

Yep, they are possible to own in Cananda. There is a law that bans most semi-automatic centrefire rifles. But the M1 Garand is exempt, you guys can even buy an M14, that we guys cant in the US.

I know I could get my PAL in a day or two (possession and acquisition lisence), do you know of a place that actually sells Garands? I don't care if it shoots or not.

Any decent gun store probably has them, or a mil surplus gun store...I dunno.

There are some metal airsoft ones, and even the nonfiring ones made with real recievers are expensive.

Its not a Garand, but the evolution of it. You can get an M14 for $399, and I know you wont get a working Garand for less than that. Those M14s have better recievers than the American made ones.
