Ive been waiting to see this combo trailer for along time.
Clint Eastwood shot two movies about Iwo Jima, flags of our fathers. About the battle for Iwo Jima itself and the men who raised the flag. Both the original and the recorded "picture-esque" flag raising.
The second movie is a companion film called Black Sand, Red Sun. Its the battle of Iwo Jima from the Japaneese point of view.
The trailer has Japaneese subs because the release dates for these movies are switched between the US and Japan.
on October 20th, Flags of our Fathers will be released in the US, and Black Sand, Red Sun in February 2007.
It looks awesome.

Dale Dye, Buck Compton from BoB, Ken Wanatabe who played Katsumoto in the Last Samurai as the Command Officiers for the Japaneese on Iwo Jima. If you've read anything on the battle, then you know about the man himself.
