I think that is one of the better trailers I've seen in a while. I expect the movie to live up to it.

Well, they're doing the same thing they did with Sin City, it's just not as blatantly obvious. They're trying to keep it as close to the graphic novel as possible.

Is it yellow lined and black in the center? If so that's what happens when they splice film together. Although why that would be in a promo...

The History of the Spartans isn't new to me but Frank Miller's take on it is. Like Heavygain said this is going to be one I definitely see at the theater.
