All players begin with the ability to use several standard weapons although points must be spent in order to use a more diverse panoply. The Medium Assault certification opens up slightly more specialized items that while not always clearly better than standard, are more suited towards a specific role and have a number of advantages such as higher levels of zoom or the ability to use alternative munitions, making them the best choice for most players.
