Few questions for you:

1. Should PS2 keep the same continents?

2. Should the continents be made bigger or smaller?

3. Should the flight ceiling be changed?

4. Should they be one world or across the galaxy?

Short Version...

1. Some of them

2. Irrelevant

3. Maybe

4. One world

I think we should retcon aftershock and have auraxis as a planet for the sequel.

Continents - I have no problem retaining my fluids...

Oh, you mean land masses?

Names - I think some names should be kept for the benefit of the old PS players, some should be thrown out and some new ones can be added.

Size - There needs to be enough space to accommodate the bases...or enough bases to accommodate the landmass. That's it.

Topography - This should be changed for any continents that are pulled from Planetside...especially if we see ceryshen in the sequel. Those cliffs were not fun.

Themes - While PS had a good selection to choose from, none of them had much atmosphere. Ceryshen, Hossin and Amerish probably had the most, while Ishundar and Solsar were remarkably cold for desert landscapes...I'd like to see each continent with it's own theme if possible.

Gate/Base distribution - This is what needs to be nailed in the sequel. Be it the mountain on Cyssor, the south + west volcano edges on Searhus, the area around the east broadcast gate on Ishundar, the mountains between the middle and lower bases on Ceryshen or the void of space west of Verica on Amerish, some of the ways the gates and bases were arranged cut a swath through the middle of some maps that restricted the flow of some continents dramatically. We could also have done with less space between the warpgates and their nearest base in some locations; which is something else they need to fix in the sequel, if warpgates still exist...

Flight ceiling - Assuming dogfighting is implemented more realistically in the sequel, it'd need to be raised. Of course, raise it too high and you risk stifling the chance of coming across enemy aircraft unless a more elaborate radar system gets implemented as well.

I always preferred auraxis pre-bending.
