This big ship reminds me of BF2142. But it could be interesting if it's actually in the game. (also...urban areas!)

There does look to be Phantasms in the upper right however. Also the guy in the bottom right has a Phoenix.

If they actually are in game an function like the Titans from 2142 that would be awesome. With CR5's being able to tell them where to go. But I doubt it for some reason.

They probably stuck that ship into the concept because it looked cool. :)

they don't like the hart, why would they change it instead of removing it?

You know what? You may be on to something there. The UI at the start of the trailer where it zooms in on the battle from above may actually be the "new HART". They said they didn't want a sanctuary to slow down combat, but this ship may be the rapid deployment they were talking about to get people into action quicker.

Look at what it says on the top of the screen at the start, it's hard to make out at 720p, but it looks like it says "This vehicle has the best technology for transportation. It goes so fast that it is hard to believe." I want to believe.

They ditched the sanc HART and now the drop pod option is being incorporated via squad spawning.

I'd have to pore over the recent footage to confirm this with a link/video, but I do recall that is what was said. I think it was in the Gametrailers.com 33 minute video that they said it.

You're correct sir. I have the feeling that ship is where drop pods are launched from

In one of the videos, one of the devs mentioned they're inspired by EVE, so I'd imagine it's a concept art of something they might be looking at in 3+ years post-release time.

Adding extra planets (semi-confirmed) and maybe adding space combat as well?

(Who knows, maybe JGE will be released by then, lol)

Yeah, at release. They're looking into adding new planets post-release.

This big thing, whatever it may be, is something a lot of us veterans have wanted to see. One guy on the ancient PlanetSide forums of old in particular.

This is a marvelous refreshment of PlanetSide and SOE's thoughts into this beloved game.
