I'm probably not alone but the thought of PS2 has made me really want to play the original PlanetSide again. So I downloaded it and was happy to see I have 45 days free but...
I can log in, run around sanc then go to a continent and fight but after I change continent after that the game crashes every time with a 'PlanetSide has stopped working'. I've looked all over the web for a solution, including SOE forum which for some reason I can't get onto right now to post this.
Things I have tried:
Running as admin
Running in compatability mode (XP SP3 and XP SP2)
Disabling my second monitor
Installing the latest nVidia driver and DirectX9 version
Changing the sound driver in game
I am running Win7 64bit, with a i5 [email protected], 4gb DDR3, GTX570. Other games run without problems on my system. Can anyone help?
