They already said on the PS2 website that you could only pick from a range of colours and showed what those colours were.

EDIT: And yes look at the detail of that white looking color on the NC rifle, it looks scratched and worn. I was really hoping for this as a veteran type look and we got it!

EDIT2: did you guys notice the ammo/shield/health UI at the bottom right ? It looks like we will have a lot less clutter blocking the visual field than in PS1.

I think the UI thing has been there for a while. But if that is the UI then that gun model is HUGE! Looks as though it's being held into the shoulder though, just not looking down the sights.

Also CoF reticule! I can only see two horizontal lines though :huh:

The only Empire that has "palette" is VS.

Red morphs to purple and yellow
Blue morphs to purple and ltblue/teal

I'm sure all the empires will get the white/snow camo. What we are talking about is being able to pick any other color. We wouldn't want TR to be running around in blue.
I'm sure there will be some form of enemy identification. Like a big red name above the head.

No it's not. I wouldn't want to see players running around with the others factions colors. And seeing guys with pink and orange armor would be rerarded. I doubt it's even worth worrying about.

My 2 cents about the (holographic) sight: I think it would look better if it had a closed frame on top. It also looks better in the 2nd screenshot where it sits a bit further back.
