Here is my first killstreak video:

It's a little rough, but lots of great killstreaks I couldn't pass up.

I think our MAX's do great work :), infantry has been the main complaint.
Im getting more used to the infantry now and the next killstreak video will feature more of that combat.

The worst thing is that the Comet is even more effective at killing infantry, as you can see in the video.

holy shit! why the heck have they nerfed the scattercannon if the vanu have such an instagibber on their max? so it´s the old "vs cry to developers until enemies gets nerfed and own gets buffed" thing from ps1 again? now THAT is the one thing from ps1 i don´t want to see in ps2...
but the video is nice! good fight, sir!

The hitbox on the comet and its damage was nerfed after that footage was recorded.
It's still okay, but not that good anymore.

Different footage at different points, and yes. Some of the footage is from earlier in the beta.

The intro was MAX footage, I had lots of different footage.

Your intro clip was you shooting people who were standing still or had their backs to you. They were mostly light assault and medics and you were a max. :confused:

Cryo quite simply isn't human. Just look at some of those Mag shots against air targets. Most Quasar users are no where near that deadly, and the same applies to the comet.
Heck I doubt Cryo would have trouble with the DC or Pounder MAX either given the situations he used it in.
I'm impressed with the consistent head shots, otherwise a lot of the footage was spawn camping.
If you watch his health closely when he's using the comet though, you'll see how rapidly rifle weapons chew through that armor.

You can choose centralized hud in settings to get that hud layout.

No problem, wish I was that good. I don't pilot a Mag nearly enough to be THAT comfortable with 1 shot 1 kill against a mosquito that appears to be about 300ms away.

This was my best footage. I have more footage coming with Scythes and infantry.
The scythe footage is going to be real good, I'll just say, I was the guy who ran the dudes over in TB's stream earlier today :lol:, getting better and better at that.
No problem, wish I was that good. I don't pilot a Mag nearly enough to be THAT comfortable with 1 shot 1 kill against a mosquito that appears to be about 300ms away.

Thanks. Its more or less a combination of luck and vague judgement,but we'll pretend I have an AI for a brain and I make those calculated shots :groovy:.

There was one in that video. The big issue is that my FPS gets fairly low when I record, making that type of combat harder(but doable).
I will have more of that type of footage coming though, no worries.
Anyone notice Bags doesn’t have a kill streak video?

Most underrated MP shooter of the last decade. Kicking it old skool. These are kill streaks. Every time you hear "die motherfucker" that would be a 10 streak, also, an angel gets his wings. I don't have anything from the pre-youtube days.

Must be nice not to be screwed if the enemy is standing more than 10 yards away. I use flamethrowers instead of scattercannons because the range is just as good and I don't have to reload every 3 seconds. You're just as equally boned though if the enemy isn't standing right next to you.

And to alleviate fears, MAX suits are pretty easy to kill.
I've killed a few by jumping down behind them and planting C4 :D 90% kill success rate.
If I had Fraps I would have had a great kill streak vid! Except it was me in LA shooting a lot of NC in the back and hopping from tower to tower. -whistles-. Killed 2 AA suits and an AI Scattermax with C4 during that whole fight.
Fun times yesterday.

The issue with them right now is that you can easily spam them in large numbers. One on one I agree they aren't that bad, but in large numbers it gets hard to really stop them.
Hopefully they figure something cool out to deal with that.

I believe it's centralized UI. An option in the settings menu.
Or I'm missing something.

Maybe we have and I just forgot.
I logged on for at bit at around 8(MST) and saw that VS and TR were in control of a large portion of the map. I was wondering what the NC were doing. Turns out there was at least 100 guys afking in the warpgate. Zerged round for a bit since I only had about 30 mins to play, Got some kills, got killed, got in a fight with a magrider, Sat on my porch in my overalls and played the banjo while chewing on a blade of grass. You know normal NC shenanigans.
I'll edit my previous post if you'd like. In order to preserve the flow of the thread.

I'm on a lot so i'm surprised as well. The killspam has a few issues atm so maybe that's why?
