I use to follow MLG when Halo 2 and Halo 3 were pretty much the only game they played. Back when Walshy was king and Final Boss won every year.

I know very little about MLG itself - just going to talk to folks about our community and PS2 ;)

Iam afraid thats MLG comunity will have no interest in Ps2 , hope iam wrong but i kinda know this comunity and most of those peoples have a (( currents esports )) mindset , Good luck to make them see otherwise , Because they beleive in smalls scales match been more competitive , 4 vs 4 and 1 vs 1 is for them the way to go everything thats is not in those set do not worth it ...

Ive been figthing and debating with many MLG gamers but , its a lost of time we are two opposite.

I find large scales game and complexity to be more skills base and competitive and they beleive in smalls scales and predictable environement to be more competitive, its 2 diametrale oposed point of view ...

Can wait to see the esports opening new doors , larges scales games are like RTS mixed with FPS , their is a Macro pictures and a micro pictures their is complex team coordination and single players skills ,

I dont think the MLG will have any interest in PS2 , if they get interested into it they will try to ruins planetside 2 as it is and they will ask for small scales instance type of match , wich iam oposed to it

A skillfull planetside 2 players play under the planetside 2 rules and the 1rst one is scales , if they need to dumb down the scales and change the setting to do good then they are not skillfull planetside players they can be really good in arena mode fps but this is not planetside

Good luck anyway :)

Hey Hamma biggest groups are Starcraft players and League of Legends. Also i think there are a few shooters that are supported (haven't been into the FPS pro level scene since back in my own Cal-I days) so don't remember which ones but might wanna point out the multiple streams that are available like Enclave and 666's.

There are spectators as well not just competitors. ;)

exactly get some tv's streaming highlights of some of the huge outfits doing crazy battles or something. Nothing is more impressive in this game then that.

I dropped by, but I haven't been in the community since BFRs came out in PS1 and I quit playing. Can't wait to get back into the groove on the 20th. It was nice to see PS2 at MLG. I managed to snag a Vanu dogtag from the TR traitor Jennyboo (I think that's who it was, I'm sorry I'm not familiar with you guys, as I said, I was around a LONG LONG time ago before social media was so huge). I got some awesome info from Jennyboo and she was really kind and helpful with my questions. I look forward to trying out the VS bolt action sniper because the last time I played the beta only NC had one and it was vastly superior.

Anyways, don't want to get distracted too much, just wanted to say awesome job setting up the booth, there were always people playing when I was walking by to get another Dr. Pepper or chocolate pretzels (those girls were wearing hardly anything).
