erased characters

Did they have a character whipe sunday? when I logged on yesterday I had to create a new one.
But it felt wierd becasue the character name I always use was already taken so if it hasnt been a charcater whipe then my computer must have forgotten that I had a character so my old one still exsisted but I couldent use it?

Your computer doesn't store your character's data. You character is on their servers and you access it by logging into the account.

I would say it was more than likely a bug and your character is just gone. The servers are going down on the 16th anyways and everything will be wiped before they release on the 20th.

ya probably a bug and no reason to cry, as you said, everything will be reset in a week
