First of all be sure to use the same account your planning on using for Planetside 2 obviously

Not sure why this works but it gave me 170 SC just for logging in to these kids games on SOE websites

I was told by my little brother to login and download the clients (and create a character on one of them) because he said they would give me some free station cash, i was very hesitant in believing him. But sure enough, it works!

For 1.70$ it's not really worth it unless you're desperate for some free SC. I know I wouldn't do that under 500SC.

Instead of saying how its not worth it, you could have just done it in the same amount of time. There is no way its not worth it.

Sounds like a mind crime to even consider this. There is also 19 hours left to wait, and add to that client download. And general chaos. And queue. And server meltdown. And the world could end tomorrow at any rate. Let us label this "an act of preventive compensation for issues bound to surface by the inevitable march of predictable events". That makes it more legit for sure. :-)

Did you create a character on FreeRealms? It didn't work for me until I actually went in and created some randomly named dude, i think one of the random words made "Donkey pipe" or something strange haha

Nice works.

I didn't have to install the plug in for Star wars to work but had to install the plug in for Freerealms to work.....it was small file like 80 mb I think....worth it IMO.

Worked like a charm, only a 80mb dl. 170 SB doesn't buy much compared to what I already have stocked up.
But still, free stuff is free stuff :)

I doubt the other games do. This is most likely to get the kids hooked on SC, the same way a drug dealer would get someone hooked on drugs. Give em' a little to hook em, then when they come back asking for more you charge em out the ass for it! :evil:

The Facebook recruitment center was worth it, so was the 3x SC day... Despite it being only 170 SC... it's still free!! :D mwahahaha!! SO MUCH SC!!! :D

Well sure, free SC why not? Its not like it was a lot of hoops to jump through either. It took me 2 minutes at most to do them both (85+85=170SC). Not exactly a lot, but you know - it might buy you half of a cheap gun sidegrade or something.

I did it. My son and I screwed around on Free Realms. Man oh man, so much digital crack for those kiddies. Luckily, he will only play when I am sitting right there with him.

But er...do believe I'd rather be repeatedly thumped in my gentlemens' vegetables than download either of those two products, let alone run them, all for essentially just $1.70.
You shouldn't have to install them, I simply signed in(same user and pass as PS2) and it gave me the SC.

Worked fine for me...

For the star-wars thing it is enough to just log-in with the account I think. there is an on-screen counter for the SC so you will immediately see when you get credited. If you dont see it yet then go ahead and makea character I guess, but I dont think i needed too.

OBVIOUSLY you need to log-in for this to work (with the same account you use for PS2). I think the star-wars one can be played without any log-in if you prefer so mybe that is confusing you?

the freerealms one i had to make a charcter before it credited me anything. its just a matter of next-next-next and hit the "play now" button. it downloads a few megs in the browser to run the game but it should be a trivial amount of time unless you are on dialup ;)

Come on Doug, dude's just trying to get ahold of some of that sweet, sweet free SC that we got last year (or two years, whatever).

That said, I really doubt that this'll still work with the new all access plan. If logging into those sites with your SOE account didn't get you anything then I doubt this promotion is still good.
