can i pause the alpha squad boost?

I was wondering if i can pause the alpha squad boost by insert a e.g. 1h/50% boost?
Can i insert the alpha squad boost again afterwards or is it gone?

Nope. These boosts last for their specified time, whether they're equipped or not.

So what you're saying is that the time boosts tick on no matter if you're playing or not?
Or would that be the alpha squad boost in particular?

My main issue with time ticking regardless would be server downtime.
Say I buy the one hour squad xp boost and the server drops 10 minutes later - no warning or heads up - and is down for the rest of the hour.

Did I just flush Station Cash down the drain there?

On the other hand, 7 days (168 hrs) of boosted play time sounds like a lot, so I doubt it is that.
