Yesterday we (NC) were defending one small outpost on Esamir and at some point there were all 3 factions fighting for it.

when I looked outside I saw NC guys hiding behind the crates from TR MAXes attacks that were in turn attacked by a swarm of VS troops.

Especially epic looked spawn beacons lights columns from all 3 factions placed just few meters apart.

It is not very often when I have a chance to participate in a real 3 way fights. I liked it :)

This would happen more if there were more continents. The troop movement in PS1 with more land allows for many more front lines between 2 factions and has great potential for these 3 way fights. Ususally they don't last an extreme amount of time as people flock to them as there's so much going on, but eventually you will see "that if everyone is here, there are bases available for easy taking", so it evetually dies down as its only a kill exp gain, not a base conquest exp gain.

But who knows, the exp drive is different between the 2 games.

Back in a day when pop was higher and there was no lattice we had threeways everywhere. I can describe them as "annoying clusterfucks".

Usually around Ti Alloys... wait... we still have them :)
