The Terran Republic has decided that although their Empire is made of the good ol' boys from the days before the wormhole closed, their Empire weaponry needs to appeal to a new demographic across Auraxis. In a move to revamp the Republic's image, they have announced plans to change the name of the upcoming Battlewagon to the Raider.
Terran Republic spokesman Uncle Chet said, "Well, it worked for TNN, takin' out the word Nashville and now showin' the adventures of Cap'n John Luke Pee-Kard as The National Network. By changing the name of the Battlewagon to the Raider, we hope be able to sway the political choices of our young'uns. The VS can have their techno rave kids, and the NC can keep recruiting from the Grateful Dead tours. We're going for the young urban professional market by appealing to the predilection for black SUV's."
