Arent you people mistaking something here? Vehicle customisation and the low number of base vehicles are separate topics. We could have the great customisation with more role specific vehicles as well. For example you could chose from ten AV turrets for your tank, each with it's pros and cons and if you want something other than AV, you just roll that specific vehicle.
This vehicle molding in PS2 is nothing more than the result of time constraint and as such I dislike it.
