I'd like auto run as well.
As far as guides, yeah, it definitely needs one. I played for two days and finally decided I really needed a red dot sight. It took me two hours to figure out how to unlock it and attach it. Sure I could have asked, but I'm one of those proud idiots, I won't ask for help in stores or for directions either.
