Not really. I of course don't know for myself, but I'm sure the early Battle Ranks go by very quickly. So quickly that you could probably get to BR4 or 5 within a few hours if you're doing well on the battlefield --
especially if you're a part of a facility capture.
So you really need to decide whether sitting around shooting some lame holograms in a VR training sim is more interesting than going out and capturing facilities and shooting actual players.
