Planetside is Sony Online�s ambitious Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter (MMOFPS) which proved that you can take a persistent world and make it into one hell of a �round the clock battle. While there were plenty of glitches, hangs, snags and other growing pains, SOE has turned a cool idea into an addictive game that will suck hours out of your life with your happy consent. With the game play all sorted out and some rethinking of a few core elements (namely the revamped base capture system) the only thing left to do was crank out an expansion pack. PlanetSide: Core Combat is the first in what is sure to be a long line of expansions to the PlanetSide universe.
