I feel great about it. It will provide more exposure to the game to a greater audience. Success of Planetside as a whole will support SOE. Our PC version of the game may pick up a few players as a result. We also may see some benefits from the lessons they learn from the console version.
If anyone is wondering how SOE will handle two versions of the same game then you only need to look as far as DCUO. It has been on PS3 and PC from the start. DCUO may not be a blockbuster success, but they have kept both versions of the game patched and running. So, in my mind they have already done this successfully before.
