Um, can you back up that comment?
In all the games I've played - I can tell you this hasn't had any effect on how I play them. I've looked at the stat, used it as a measure to improve my play, which may result in doing less stupid stuff etc - but that's to make me better at the game, lifetime stats are just a passing curiosity.
