Anti-Hacking Deployable on Control Consoles

This is a simple idea to further increase coordination and team cooperation, as well as giving a way to temporarily hold enemies off from hacking a control console successfully.

This can be done in a few ways, though I'm only going to explore the option of deploying protective weapons on a control console. There are three particular items I recommend for this.

Radial Bomb - This is a shaped explosive that blasts outward in a radius. It is placed near the floor, and can be visually detected. If a hacker doesn't look for or address the Radial Bomb, it will detonate when the hack is 25% complete, killing the hacker. These bombs can be shot and destroyed prior to hacking, and are placed or dismantled by engineers and infiltrators.

Top-Mounter Sentry Turret - This is a turret that is attached to the top of a control console. When inactive, it collapses into a rigid shell to auto-repair any damage sustained. The turret shoots head-level shots at standing targets, and shoots up or down 45 degrees to deal with different heights, but being crouched down while next to the control console will let someone avoid fire from the turret while hacking the console (which also takes over the turret). It can only fire one direction at a time, and can be rapidly disabled if an ally sneaks up and strikes it even once from behind while it is active. Only engineers can deploy these, but anyone can destroy or disable them. High-pitched whirring from the turret also works to signal nearby players that the control console is being attacked.

Pain Generator - This is a device that emits a combination of chemicals and electronic frequencies that will harm and inhibit enemy combatants, and it activates the moment a hack attempt is initiated. When activated, it creates a nearby cloud that lingers for 30 seconds, combined with that signature screeching sound of a pain field when someone is actually getting cooked in it. Slight damage is inflicted, not enough to kill a healthy non-infiltrator while they try to perform and complete the hack, but enough to counteract regeneration and make someone think twice about trying to hack in a heavy battle. Only medics can place these, but medics and engineers can remove them. These can be shot off, but that will cause them to activate.
