If it is any consolation, it will probably be a lot easier to do a cinematic, or even a bunch of cinematics, than to do entry animations.
I really want entry animations myself though. Hopefully they at least put a delay between entering a vehicle and being able to drive/fly it to mimic the time spent entering the vehicle. That way, they leave the door open to easily implement entry animations at a later date without affecting gameplay.
