One of the most extremely difficult things to overcome in the gaming business is Hype. Hype can make your product, and no developer wants to keep their project under the radar for that long, but when a game receives the amount of hype as Planetside did even in it's infant stages of development it's hard to surpass that hype to truly and fully deliver a product worthy of all the hot talk.
