I just started playing PS2, and being bored at work I ran across
The "Clegged up" Thread. I didn't want to necro a thread, so this would be a good opportunity to introduce myself.
That thread remindind me of my first attempt at flying a Galaxy. A few blueberries jumped in my galaxy, and we planned on assisting at Mekala Tech Plant. After constantly being asked to "do a barrel roll", I acquiesced, and crashed straight into the plant, serendipitously between one of the generators and the perimiter wall. An eng stayed behind, repaired my gal, then this happened:
After we capped, he stuck with me and went over a lot of the basics of the game. I joined his platoon, then they eventually initiated a bio lab stalemate so myself a a few other new players could grind out some certs. In a couple of hours, I went from BR1 to BR10, and then the platoon went over some of the basic gear we should unlock.
It was the most fun and educating experience I've ever had starting a new game.
