But once the trickle of information shows that it actually started and they appear to be done with the FP invites, that's when we'll really see how well the community takes it.

They have not yet started beta. Just in case you missed it a few pages ago, some people, have been given access to the PS2 forums, community leaders primarily, to discuss PS2 with more specific questions tailored to those groups of players.
