Timers based on territories was from devs, but i didnt see any mention from them about flag based mechanics. Where did you get that?

Having adjacent territory will also affect capture times. I would guess it would take a solo player, behind enemy lines with no linkable territory, somewhere in the area of an hour to capture something by himself. But those times are purely for illustration.
