This week's in concept focuses on mixing up the warp gate lattice:
The global links (warpgate-to-warpgate connections) will be randomized periodically (each cavern rotation period) and the links to the Empire Sanctuaries will be severed. This change has the benefit of "mixing up" the continents and ensuring that no continent can ever be wholly ignored. The cavern links rotate from continent to continent, providing more reasons to fight on previously ignored continents AND the dynamic nature of the links ensures that Empires have to take different routes and methods each day as they struggle for supremacy over their chosen objectives.
