I think there'll have to be some visual clues. But I'd like it to be a tank chassis with the different shaped guns on them.
That way some aircav can think he's lining up a tank kill and then have to bail out when they see the flak cannons turning.
If all they have to do is avoid lightnings its too easy for them. (I hate aircav so I'm probably biased though)
