In no particular order:
Planetside (Prior to allowing BR40)
DAoC (Pre TOA)
Shadowbane (...yes despite the bugs, hacks, and ARAC zergs)
Master of Orion 2
Baldurs Gate
... Then games that should have made the list based on pre release design plans and hype, but ended up switching design direction and being disappointing...
