that I agree with most of his points. Especially the emphasis on "resisting checking off box features". I really don't want PS2 to be a cookie cutter FPS with an MMO topping.
Most of the stuff he's on about has little to no bearing on actual gameplay, it's mostly background shit that nerds tend to get carried away with. If the game has stupid backstory the traditional FPS player will just scoff it off and then carry on not giving a shit.
