The textures do look great, but I have to admit I miss how the PS1 Vanu armor would shimmer different shades of purple as light passed over it. That was a totally badass effect - my main use of 3rd person view was to admire my own armor.
These being only still pictures; perhaps the shimmer is still in there. The character turnround video will tell.
Looking forward to see what the new Vanu rexo looks like!
