Not that there won't also be a need for other roles on the battlefield. Quality airmen will always be in demand, while The Enclave is primarily and infantry outfit ground the platoon on the ground can not do it's job if it isn't properly supported from the gunships, and the gunships can't do their job if they're being harassed by air to air fighters.
