I myself when I was your age didn't say very much, but I always heard everything. But in the home I grew up in, it felt like how I wrote it. That nothing I could say, smart or dumb mattered to my step-father. What I wrote wasn't correct in the wording. But it does seem true that some teenagers do change their opinions fast.
