I'm with HereticusXZ on this one. Though we do have to keep in mind that some people don't get to play as often as some others.

With that in mind, I'm of the opinion that there should be more TYPES of alerts. Like, say, hold X bases at border for Y amount of time (small bases included with higher XP gained in three ways). Unfortunately, that would involve coding that recognize borders and such and bases aren't defensible enough yet. But I think it would make for some interesting alerts instead of the SAME biolab/tech plant ones and hold X continent for Y amount of time over and over.
