How come whenever you jack something, the color changes to your empire's colors? It should be like that one POTD, "the SMART hacker" because then you could "infiltrate" enemy lines if the enemies are stupid enough not to notince a red name.

That "smart hacker" was in an infiltration suit. The Max could not see him.

He's refering to http://www.planetside-universe.com/potd/?id=261 which is actually entitled the *SMART* hacker. Not the picture of the guy hacking by a MAX, which was titled "This will be embarassing". A public service announcement.

On topic though, what everyone else said. You'd get blown up by your own side in a heartbeat. I can however think of a bunch of different ways to incorporate this (CE upgrade, elite ability, special token that makes your vehicle appear as something else...I like that one, people running from a column of vanguards to find it was a squad of guys on basilisks). It is a neat idea, but overall, doubt it'd ever go in.

Yep, would be cool but too much grief...And then you'd get the paranoids, who would shoot at anyone headed back to the base they just came in because they think that person might be a hacker.

EDIT: Was that "The *SMART* hacker" Thing ever actually in the game, or was it a bug/glitch?
