Bleh, 7 minutes worth of waiting around doing nothing... Kinda boring, then you finally get to the base and do some things but then the video cuts out mid-attack.

Second video even worse - a full cc defense with nobody bothering to attack. Seat of the pants stuff!!

Recording video is not rocket science these days.

At least edit the video to make it worth watching!! The only thing I've seen in this video so far is exactly all of the things which hopefully they'll be fixing in planetside 2 (waiting for gals, flying for 7 mins in gals, 15 min cc defences with no action) *8)

One question : are you a returning player? You (or someone in the video) seem to be asking GOTR about joining and stuff in the video, and seem to not have that many loadout options.

I keep wishing that the video was following the platoon leader tbh... I'd much rather watch the guy that is in the thick of the action doing stuff rather than the guy Gal dropping into a CY in a harasser!

I would like to mirror igster's suggestion, edit down the down-time where you see all the base hold stuff, it takes too much time and space. Keep it there for a few seconds, then fast forward to where there's action.

Also, @Igster, thanks for your suggestions on the platoon leader bit, the only real issue is that most of the people actually leading during these ops are on a separate voice channel so you can't hear them, and don't have any real want to record everything while actually leading it. It's a bit of a paradox - the people that probably should be recording don't have the time or want to. I will say that where Rodeny's videos shine are during our SFR themed raids more than the Thursday raids. He's got one up of a CE tower-and-trap we did months ago that was pretty epic, but one person can only see so much with one camera angle.
