NEW SCREENSHOTS! [Fake]

Finally some new information! I was surfing news on Gamespot this morning when a thread about PS2 caught my eye (http://www.gamespot.com/forums/topic...5687#332295687). Most of the info that was posted is old news to us, but there were also a couple new screenshots!

1)

This is the first time I've seen that huge ship, except for the concept art. Looks like it has purple jets -- is this the VS uncap base?

Also the warpgate in the background appears to have an active bubble. The first operational one we've seen?

2)

The first thing I took note of here was the tree quality and (apparently) Vanguards rolling around (one in the background). Pretty impressive! It also looks like they landed a tower in the swamp, where that NC guy is sniping from.

That Galaxy has some red highlights from what I can tell -- first TR Gal we've seen? We really need to request some HD screenshots so we can get more detail on these.

Huts in PS2 really? I didn't know there was third world countries on Auraxis. That second picture does not look real at all. The Vanguard on the right looks way to small IMO. I thought that was a Crysis picture for a second.

1st one seems plausible. Calling bullshit on the second one though. The gal in particular looks like it was shopped in from the early renders

Was able to use Google Goggles on that second pic to confirm that it is originally an image from BFBC2: Vietnam.

As for the first, looks like a modified Tribes: Ascend image?

Ah, I had my suspicions, glad someone researched it because I was too lazy to. First one looks more plausible than the second. The second has numerous flaws, the tanks look too shiny and yeah I don't think anyone on Auraxis would stay in huts. I totally woulda believed the first one though.

The Planetside 'Nam picture was way too obvious (only the first screenies of the gal and the vanguard were used in a bad environment). The first one looked ok-ish at first sight (with the giant purple moon etc).

Anyways, we need new media from SOE! Screenies, trailers, ingame movies, soundtracks - anything!

Ah yeah, you're right. Bummer, I was all excited to start the week off with some new media, too :\ Ah well, hopefully we'll get some more info this week.
