Why "metagame animosity"? Doesn't it come down more to "I'm ashamed for the trolls on my team, so I isolate them and don't mind you killing them? And you let me kill your trolls?"

Or is anybody looking forward to fight alongside this selfcentric trollbabys?

I simply don't want to be ashamed and frustrated of my team mates, and I want to be able to respect my in-game opponents.

People from different communities are going to whatever faction they like, there is no clear split. I for one am just glad there is full friendly fire in game so if I see any vanu talking about rage comics or some equally stupid unfunny meme crap I can still shoot them.
