I met Martyr online and we're one of the most functional, happy couples I know. 14 months living together, and going strong.

Even purchased appliances together awwwww

well Im 16, so, for me its a little different.

one of the worst things Ive seen is seeing 2 people perfect for eachother, and then they have to leave. it was painful just to watch from the sidelines.

its a long, but sad story, would you like to hear it?

hehe Hamma and i met online 2 years ago when i was dating Asmo ..i think we all know how that turned out ...

Touching, it all really is. My girlfriend knows about as much about computers and video games as I do about quilting. Which...I guess if you don't know...isn't a whole lot. It's amazing to see so many couples in here. Yeah. Anyways, since this is a GF question thread already, I figure I'll ask a question I have.

A couple days ago on the phone my girlfriend asked me if I would bring over my PS2 when I came back down to syracuse for June. This shocked me because she has never played any video games in her life except one - frogger. She liked it, but she's never been interested in this kinda stuff. I guess what I'm asking is what do people think: is she merely interested in video games and wants to try and give it a shot, or does she think that we don't have enough in common and we need something to keep us together and she's trying to make gaming something we share?

As another bit of info, we're both musicians and we share tastes in music. We also both snowboard in the winter and swim in the summer.

So what's the verdict?

Wish my g/f was the same. I have to practically keep my computer life under wraps when im with my g/f. Otherwise she'll think im a nerd and dump me.

I think she's too pretty to give up. Im willing to mask the computer part of my life to still be with her. We make each other happy and thats what counts.

It's just a pain in the butt when she calls saying she's coming in 10 mins and I have to tell my clan "later" and quickly shut my computer off.

^I had a gf like that once.

I dont think Im a big nerd, but my most recent ex (and still a good friend) knew I was a geek. she found that out when I said we couldnt go out on friday because I just got battlefield vietnam.
