acording to that tweet by smedley yes, that would be correct.

however he didnt say the download would be avalible before 2 pm, so pending on that, you may or may not get to play for a while (i assume its atleast 10 gigs)

You need to use Gamefly's client to access the CD key, but do not use it to install the game. Use SOE's launcher found on their site.

Are you sure this counts as being an active subscriber? Is this just the aftershock expansion and not the full game?

Yes. I got it along with two friends a week and a half ago. It's the full game.

Cool. I already have a PC Gamer priority key, but I have school starting in two weeks and I'm not sure f I will make it in before then... would you suggest I buy the subscription?

That depends on how badly you want in. Do you really want to play Planetside 2 on Monday as opposed to waiting 2-3 weeks? Or is it worth $10 to you in order to play it first?

Ultimately the choice is yours. I got it because I actually wanted to check out PS1 before the PS2 beta started. Wasn't even expecting to get in because it was after the free time was given out. If you got $10 to spend, why the hell not?

It's summer and it's beautiful. Don't pay for an old, shitty game to play their new, buggy, broken game. Go hiking and swimming and start jogging if you don't and before you know it you'll be in the beta and you'll be glad you didn't spend any money to be in it, because it will not live up to your expectations.

Thought the exact same thing and already had a PC Gamer key, decided to go for it and spend the $15. Finishing the last few weeks of summer with Planetside 2 sounds good to me.
