^^^ I'd agree... At least it's not a ghost town anymore... I'm seeing, on NC side, during peak hours typically 85 positions available on the high pop continents... It's definitely nothing like it was in hay-day still but there's decent fight happening...

I'm an oldschool ps1 player also looking at ps2 and thinking how much fun it was. I left when they added BFR's. Started at launch. How much has changed since then and whats left?

Well, they didn't remove anything so basically everything is left. They nerfed BFRs (they're sort of underpowered now), added some vehicles, weapons and deployables, and raised the BR cap. And also increased the number of grenades you could carry. IMO it would actually be a better game, if only the pops were there.

i'm also an oldschool ps1 player and thinking of resubbing ( partly cause in my mind it will get me (in)to the ps2 beta faster )
a pop increase is a nice thing to hear, but is this also true for europe or will i still be fighting only the nighttime US players?

Resub'd today after a 2 month break myself. Pops are not great but there not horrible. There is still stuff to shoot.

Just like 30 mins ago there was a fairly long and epic (on current standards) battle between NC and VS over Jarl on Esamir.

Supermorto supposedly streamed the entire thing, so perhaps we'll get to see it from the other (loser ) perspective
