Planetside 2 will give life meaning

There are no "great" games out right now and I'm serious. Every game out now is just a complete rehash of another game with minor tweaks. Stories are predictable, combat is cut-down and turned into casual-fests with easy 1 button combos or what not.... and a series of just terrible, awful WoW arena style PvP-like games that make me want to puke blood on to my computer screen so I can pass out and forget I ever played something so brain-dead to begin with.

Also, I have no job because the economy sucks and isn't getting better (or possibly because I'm too lazy). The only reason I haven't shot myself in the fucking face is because Planetside 2 is on the horizon. This game will give life meaning again.

Now I realize the first Planetside had flaws everywhere in the gameplay but, you didn't CARE because it was so crazy fun to fight 100 other people in the same battlefield. The very LEAST that Planetside 2 needs to do is make Planetside 1 all over again but with slicker graphics and updated FPS physics, and this game will be golden.

I certainly hope they can craft a game that will last awhile. A game that will make me excited to wake up in the morning for once.

If it comes out horrible will we see mass suicide?

I think it'll be awesome but I wouldn't invest too much meaning into a game.

Indeed. Its far cooler to goth yourself up and bleed out slowly. Or use some gruesome torture device...

Also Planetside 2 looks like it will be better than females.

While that has been true for a while, there are good games in the near future.

Battlefield 3 is the obvious example, but Deus Ex 3 is going to be awesome and that's less than a month away. Personally I'm looking forward to SWTOR which I think will come out in November.

I'm sure there are others but those are the ones which spring to mind.

it was decent, league of legends is better though.

and on topic: there is no middle ground for PS2, it will be a flop or a success, there is no middle ground. Hopefully it will be a success, from what ive heard so far it will be great.

Hi RED187 here from Werner. First of all I must say I had an incredible time with all you nutcases when I played PS. (My gf's where not so hyped...). Sooo looking forward to frag with you all once again in PS2.

About SWTOR I got the beta and I'm a huge SW fanboi. BUT, it's a crime to call it a MMO in its current state. I would rather call it an massive RPG with some COOP elements... unfortunately. When gaming I'm all in about the social aspects as squading, raiding and chatting etc. SWTOR lacks it big time. I really hope they adress it but I'm not so sure they have any intentions on doing so.

Story-wise it's amazing, as expected as it's from Bioware but the true MMO-feeling just isn't there. I sinserly hope more players, better LFG-system and more instances (flashpoints) makes it a far greater experience compared to what I played in the beta.

Plz SOE make PS2 worth waiting for...

I know I haven't been this excited for a game in a long time. If it comes out and it sucks I will be crushed.

I think it's gonna rock though, and yeah, sick of all these other MMO's. Terrible WoW reskins.

Planetside 2 will make me buy a HOTAS, maybe even a TrackIR and damn rudder pedals. Well I can still hope it won't support TrackIR or require pedals. That's my last chance...

I also talked to this guy who knows a guy who is a dev, and he says PS2 will cure cancer!

Originally I was like "This MMO sucks, its not much better than WoW".

Then I realised what you said up there is exactly what I WANTED. And I was like:
